Thank you for visiting my Big Climb MPLS fundraising page!
Big Climb MPLS is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Minnesota Chapter’s annual stair climbing event to raise awareness and funding for groundbreaking research and treatment options to eliminate blood cancer. On Saturday Feb. 17, 2018, I will take on the tallest vertical challenge in the Upper Midwest by climbing 53 flights of the Capella Tower!
Too many people I know have been affected by cancer. Some are survivors, some still fighting, and some are shining their light down upon us. I climb with Tanya's Treasures. Tanya is a former coworker that has battled - and beat - lymphoma not once but twice! She's continues to be cancer free and it's an honor to climb along side her. My friend Eric Gilseth put up a valiant fight for 4+ years and despite his efforts and incredible zest for life, he lost his battle in August of 2015 to side effects of his many treatments. In April of 2016, another friend, Ryan Nevins, lost his battle with cancer. This past year another friend, "Tall Scott" was diagnosed with CML Luekmia at a routine physical (and btw, he's doing quite well with treatment!). All in all, the type of cancer doesn't matter. It's got to stop.
Please support me in this challenge by helping me reach my fundraising goal. By giving a donation today, you can help bring us closer to a world without blood cancer!
Money raised at Big Climb MPLS helps LLS fund treatments for patients who are suffering from all forms of blood cancers. LLS helps save thousands of lives every day and the research LLS funds is helping to find new treatments and cures for all types of cancers.
Please make a donation to continue to help save lives and fund vital research. Any amount helps...
